Hello, Ps Scott Bell visited our Church, Riverside Church Wanganui. Ps Scott had a word for me regarding ‘freedom in worship’ as an act of love, joy and freedom I dance to express that love during the singing time of the service. Not long after his word I was asked not to dance during the morning service due to the lack of space to do so, but I could dance at night. I admit the wind was knocked out of my sails so to speak. It was a struggle, but still believed in raising my hands and responding with joyful exuberance and singing out to the Lord during the singing part of the service. Yes I struggled with the flesh where responding to the Pastors request, and asked myself have I made dancing my identity and not Jesus. This is a sadness to me.
